Google Calendar and AI Call Deck

AI Call Deck uses Google Calendar access only to synchronize appointment events for the business account that explicitly connects the integration.

Why access is requested

Keep caller bookings and the business calendar consistent.

The purpose of the integration is to prevent a business from maintaining two separate appointment records. When an authorized user connects Google Calendar, AI Call Deck can create an event for a confirmed appointment and update or delete that event when the appointment changes in AI Call Deck.

Without this connection, appointments remain available in the internal AI Call Deck calendar. Connecting Google Calendar is not required to create an account or use call management features.

User-controlled workflow

What happens after you connect.

No background connection is made before the business user grants permission.

Connect

A signed-in business user chooses Connect Google Calendar and approves access on Google's consent screen.

Create

A confirmed appointment made by the AI receptionist or in the dashboard is added to the connected primary calendar.

Keep in sync

Rescheduling updates the corresponding event. Cancelling removes the corresponding event from Google Calendar.

Disconnect

The user can disconnect in AI Call Deck at any time. We revoke access when possible and delete the stored OAuth credentials.

Google user data

Limited to the connected account and appointment sync.

Data accessed

  • The connected Google account email, used to identify the connection.
  • Calendar event permission for the connected primary calendar.

Actions performed

  • Create events for confirmed AI Call Deck appointments.
  • Update those events when appointments are rescheduled.
  • Delete those events when appointments are cancelled.

Data not used for

  • Advertising, retargeting, credit decisions, or sale to data brokers.
  • Importing or displaying unrelated events from the user's calendar.
